Kings prepare to take on Fury. The quest for the perfect season found our Kings in Glendale taking on a good team in the Fury. Both teams on their way to the playoffs, but the Kings are on their way with not a single loss this year! UN-DE-FEATED!!! Can they stretch their win streak to 7 games in a row?? The Kings start off returning the kickoff lead by “Head down” Niko Holmes-Miller; he returned it a healthy 10 yards.  This game saw the Kings struggling early on, they have been coming out flat and this week was no different. The first 2 drives stalled with 4 and outs.

Fury offense started the same way; they had a nice pass to their big #77 and Amonai had the task of bringing him down, Tristen Daniel had a nice tackle on this drive to force the 4th. Down.  Both teams failed to score in the 1st. quarter, good Defense by both sides. The Fury offense took the field in the 2nd. Quarter one of the plays of the game was from Kaelin “the Deal” Deboskie, he put a hit on the fury that caused a fumble in which the Kings recovered and the momentum took a big swing in our direction.

Kings vs. Fury

The Kings enter their week 6 game with a 2 game winning streak looking to stretch the mark to 3 games in a row and with their playoffs hopes on the line as well. The Kings D takes the field first and forces a mean 4 and out stand with #12 having a huge tackles for a loss. Cheshier # 18 returns the punt nicely for a gain of 22 yards. # 32 was running very strong today he had 85 total yards and some very nice

drive saving runs. Nice work Corionn. #40 was a mad man at tailback today his first run of the day was a nice 25 yard misdirection run. #21 capped off the drive with a 15 yard boot run and a 10 yard run, but the Kings could not punch it in. The Kings second series on D was more of the same, a nice 4 and out highlighted by #24’s nice hit for a loss! Second series for the Kings and they looked INTENSE! #32 was running and #8 started to air it out and the recipient was #18!! #18 had a nice 13 yard catch and then # 21 dropped back and launched a bomb to #18 for a 62 yard TOUCHDOWN score!! # 32 punched the Xtra point in for a 5 yard run.

On the kick off # 24 had a great tackle and the defense held very strong with #40 and #58 making a statement with their tackling, #93 ended the drive with a nice tackle for a loss. 4 and out!!! The Kings Defense has really stepped up and I must say, they are playing like a team possessed!
